Here is the my third analysis of the current state of Venice FL housing inventory for sale.

For the 6 neighborhoods I selected for this comparison, out of 5020 possible homes, only 53 (1%) are available for sale at this writing.

I keep hearing about price drops and an over supply of homes for sale in Florida markets like Cape Coral, Naples, and Ft. Myers. All real estate is local- Venice FL has a low inventory of homes for sale despite the national statistics.

As a potential home buyer reading this, it should tell you that demand for Venice real estate is strong, and you can expect seller's market conditions once we find the right property. Home sellers should not expect 5 or 6 offers at the same time, since a good portion of home buyers are sitting on the sidelines.
