People interested in Venice have a lot of questions! Here's a few from Google, asked and answered.
Q: Is Venice expensive?
A: When it comes to real estate, Venice FL is priced right about the US median home sales price. There's a lot of free and mostly free things to do in Venice, like the beaches and The Legacy Trail. Don't forget about all the activities around Centennial Park that don't cost anything to enter or walk around.
Q: What's the most expensive Venice neighborhood?
A: Any property with water frontage is expensive. Look for a neighborhood called "Schutt", or homes in Enchanted Isles. Both of these are on Roberts Bay, with lots of expensive homes in the neighborhood.
Q: Why are people in Venice FL selling heir condos?
A: I wouldn't say there's any one reason. People who own condos in Venice are not hurting for money. Maybe they want to cash out on their investment. Maybe a spouse or loved one who had an emotional bond to the property has passed, and the owner wants to move on. And let's face it. Florida summers can be brutal on older folks.
Q: Are condo sales prices dropping?
A: Overall, Venice real estate market prices are not decreasing, especially for single family homes. Condos are a case by case basis. Condo owners are seeing increased association fees because of property insurance.
