VENICE FL LOVES PUGS
One of the things I love most about Venice, Englewood, and Sarasota is how dog friendly everyone is.
I got Rudy when he was 8 weeks old in August of 2000. He can spell, loves to ride in the car, and thinks he can talk. Anyone who knows Rudy will tell you he is my alter ego, reincarnated in a pug.
Yoda is a mix of Boston Terrier (maybe a Frenchie?) and Pug. I call him a "Bug". He was a rescue dog that I got when he was a puppy and has been with me since 2001. Yoda is definitely the jokester and troublemaker of the group.
My third pug (Mozart aka Mozey) is another rescue from the Humane Society of Sarasota County. When I adopted him in 2005 he was overweight with skin mange. With a lot of baths and an improved diet, he turned out to be a beautiful apricot color. Unfortunately, he passed away in his sleep on New Year's Eve morning 2011. He was truly a special dog and will be missed.
