There's always a lot happening in the world of real estate. A good current example is the national law requiring Realtors and property buyers to enter into an exclusive buyer's broker agreement, or what we call an EBBA, before any property can be toured or shown.
Besides the EBBA, you may not know that Zillow, Homes, com, Realtor.com, and some of the country's biggest brokerages, have been accused of playing games with the property listings on their websites. There are accusations that they are displaying the listings of Realtors who pay them the most, or displaying listings that have never been available.
Then, there is an issue of the biggest brokerages displaying only their listings on their websites, and excluding all others.

Biased property listings can deprive you of the ability to more easily evaluate available properties according to your criteria. Example: You could end up closing on a home that fits your needs and budget, but you may not be aware of another real estate website listing a similar property at a lower price, with lower fees, or more amenities.
Biased listings is one of the major issues facing the real estate business right now. Subscribe to my blog and get notified as I update this issue.
