Islandwalk homes are in high demand because they have a reputation for quality construction. In addition to an increasing number of resale homes, Islandwalk offers new home floor plans, ranging from 1289 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, to 2,634 sq. ft. with up to 5 bedrooms and 4 baths.  

Islandwalk is a gated community with a resort feel. The gorgeous amenity center is home to a full time activities director and themed charity and holiday events.  The amenities center is what truly makes Islandwalk unique among new home communities in Venice.  A resort-style zero entry pool faces a large lake.  There is a separate lap pool, bordered by six lighted tennis courts. The main lawn, an expansive grassy area adjacent to the pool, is a gathering place for outdoor movies, organized athletic events, car shows for residents, and holiday parties all year long.

 

Visitors to Islandwalk will notice two distinct design themes.  The original homes built up until 2014 have pastel color exteriors and barrel tile roofs.  The new floor plans, introduced in 2014, included a new set of front elevations that have more earthen hues with stacked stone facades. The floor plans themselves changed slightly, with more direct useable open interior space and new choices for finishes.  One interesting option is a "zero corner door", available in some models, which opens the home to a caged lanai and pool.
