I've been a Realtor in FL for 23 years and one of the most frequent questions I get is "Where would you live?" if you had a choice.

I'd start by adding Aldea Mar in Venice FL to my "want to live there" list, especially the units that are in the semi-detached villas. These units have vaulted ceilings and live like a small single family home They're just steps from the beach or the community pool. You can hop on your bike and get the best pina colada in Florida just down the road at Sharky's.

I love how quiet Aldea Mar is, at most any time of day. There's not any direct views of condo towers nearby, which I think adds to the relaxation factor you'd have living here.
