Tuscany Lake is a newer condo development in Venice, at Venice Blvd. East and Auburn Road.

Tuscany Lake offers home owners a Mediterranean design vibe in six 3 story midrise elevator buildings. Each 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit comes with a deeded 1 car garage, plus plenty of guest parking.

Tuscany Lake was built between 2004 and 2005, and has a total of 72 units. Units are 1467 to 1524 square feet of living space. Owners enjoy peaceful lake views from spacious lanais. There really isn't a unit in Tuscany Lake that has a bad view, whether the condo is at ground level or on the 3rd floor.

These condos are listed in public records as 3 bedrooms, counting the den. The dens are certainly big enough to be used as a guest bedroom, but they don't have a built in closet.

I wouldn't say Tuscany Lake has the open floor plans many buyers look for, but the 3rd floor units have valuted ceilings. All condos have kitchens that are open to the main living area, with space for bar stools and entertaining.

The builder provided convenient extra space features such an eat-in kitchen. Some buyers may find the kitchens and baths could use some updating in the form of upgraded cabinets, countertops, and appliances. Tuscany Lake condos are a good mix of value and utility, with relatively low fees for a Florida condo ($1730 quarterly), and no CDD. They're definitely worth a look if Venice is on your list for a vacation or new forever home.
