There is some news to report about new homes in the area I serve for my real estate business.

In Venice, you may have noticed vacant land being cleared at the intersection of Jacaranda and Border Road (just south of Aria). DR Horton will be building a small enclave of about 200 homes on 75 acres. I don't have any information beyond this as of Jan 5, 2021.

In Wellen Park, Tortuga by Lennar has opened for sales with 6 floor plans. While model homes and the sales center are under constructiont there, prospective buyers can visit one of Lennar's other communities in Port Charlotte. Appointments are required.
