February real estate market statistics are out. Venice is moving toward a buyer's market, while Nokomis is there.


A buyer's market means there are more homes for sale than than potential buyers for them. In a buyer's market, negotiations favor buyers when it comes to price, deposits, or repairs as a result of a home inspection.


It wasn't long ago that buyers declined having a home inspection in a hard seller's market.
