How will you screen or pre-qualify a stranger that wants to see your home?  Do you want to show your home only to find out the buyer hasn't gotten mortgage approval, or hasn't sold their current residence yet?

Buyers have access to a lot of information online.  More information results in more buyers with more questions. They have become extremely cautious when making a decision on which home to purchase.

 

As a home seller, you'll get a lot of buyers looking at your property, but they are most likely going to rely on the services of a Realtor to help them answer their many questions and make sure their interests are protected.

 

If you still don't want to list your home with a Realtor, you should be willing to work with a buyer's agent.
