A new discovery! Literally underneath the Ringling Bridge on the mainland
side. Nice wide sidewalks, fishing piers, easy parking and nice grassy
spots for the paws.
Nice wide sidwalks and lots of trees for shade. Great views of the bay and
nice wide grassy areas. There's always lots of other dogs to sniff. When
you're done, have a beer at O'Leary's. Dogs are welcome there.
Big grassy area, not too crowded, and the boys can get their feet wet on
the small beach. Easy, free parking and watch the boats launch.
Head east on 17th St from Beneva Rd and you''ll find the Paw Park on your
right. Here dogs can go off-leash in a big, fenced grassy area. There's a
separate fenced area for smaller dogs, too.
Cross over the Ringling Bridge from downtown, and turn right at the
light at Bird Key Drive. The park construction is recently completed
and it's absolutely beautiful for pugs and humans alike.
Rudy is a very discerning pug and is particular about where he goes for a walk. These parks are some of his favorites. Hope we'll see you there!
